A tiny space with mighty big charm, The Studio is a zen hideaway nestled within cottage gardens next to the Town Run (a spring-fed waterway that moves through town down to the Potomac River).

Birds, butterflies, dappled light, the sounds of a waterfall, and minimal design make this space a sanctuary that feels worlds away, while right in historic downtown Shepherdstown—steps from shopping, restaurants, Shepherd University, a farmers’ market, and more.

The Studio is stocked with everything you need to recharge, reflect, and rest.

The kitchenette is properly equipped for cooking and reheating simple meals for two. You’ll find necessary cooking and eating utensils, pots and pans, a kettle, coffee-bean grinder, pour-over coffee maker, mini fridge/freezer, dishes, wine glasses and opener, a plug-in induction cooktop, large cutting board, and more.

Before your stay, you can also contact us to order a special breakfast or snacks delivered to your door.

The Studio does not have a television, but you can watch all the shows you like on your phone and laptop via our wifi.

Our gardens are open to enjoy and The Studio has two outdoor spaces to rock in a chair, practice yoga or meditate, or sit by the water under a canopy of trees.

Sorry, no pets. No smoking. No parties.
